How to Find the Smuggler’s Tunnel Extract in Escape from Tarkov
Before you plan your exfil on the Interchange map using the Smuggler’s Tunnel, you need to bring along a green flare. It could be a handheld flare or a cartridge for the flare gun, but this is a requirement if you wish to use the Smuggler’s Tunnel extraction point. Jaeger at level 1 will sell them to you at his store if you have unlocked him. Next, you need to find the extraction point, which is part of the new expansion of Interchange.
To find the Smuggler’s Tunnel, make your way towards the parking lot of the mall and go across the road towards the train tracks. On your right, you will spot several open carriages, walk through them, and go left up the hill path. Eventually, you will find a metal grate and a Terragroup Labs sign on your right. Go through it and continue to the right. Follow along the path till you reach a toll booth.
How to Exfil in Smuggler’s Tunnel
Once you get close to the area here, keep an eye on the bottom right corner of your screen. You will see a notification on the ideal location to use the flare. When you see this notification, stop and equip your flare. The best place to set off your flare is right beside the toll booth and the barricade.
Assign the flare to a quick slot, then press the respective key to bring it up. Look up and aim between the two power lines, then press the button to shoot the flare. Wait for a few seconds for the flare to register, then run past the Evac sign to start the extraction.
